The AMA property team has found an ideal off grid property for members that could be used for overnight camping and as a base for driving and riding out to the surrounding areas.
The 100 acre (40 ha) property we have in mind is located in South East QLD and has direct access to dual sport trail riding nirvana in the adjoining 20,000 acre state forest.
This property is fully fenced and has a large dam for swimming and fishing. The property is located on a quiet no-through (no traffic) all-weather unsealed road. Mains grid power is not currently available on the property however, services do pass along the front boundary.
The AMA property team has suggested the 'once off' share price for families will be around $2,500 per share. A family, constitutes all persons in the immediate family plus any juniors in the household, which the adults may be guardians of.
It is expected there will only be 125 shares available in this property, which will pay for the property, government taxes, development approvals and any immediate works to be actioned.
Shareholders will also be required to pay a yearly membership subscription fee to be a part of the share arrangement. This fee is expected to be around $250 per family, which will cover utilities, rates, improvements, maintenance, etc.
Being a part of the purchase arrangement would mean the shareholder family would have unlimited and unrestricted access to the property for the intended use.
Shareholders could also determine whether the property would remain private for the use of shareholder families only or whether it could be open to use by other AMA members for a fee.
